Alain Robert, aka the French Spiderman, scaled the Four Seasons Hotel in Hong Kong yesterday. His motive was to bring attention to global warming.Roberts was detained by Chinese police and hotel security after he reached the top of the 46 story building.
He was not charged and later released. Unlike last year when he was deported from China for scaling its tallest building. Ironically, later that year he was invited back to scale a mountain to attract tourist.

Hi Angie,
I saw a whole special on this French spiderman and he is amazing. I had my hands over my eyes, but peeked to see how far up he was climbing. Although during the show they kept showing clips of him being interviewed about the different climbs, and I knew that would mean he had survived all of them, my hands were clammy and my heart was pounding.
